TRINITY’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE
On behalf of the members of the Trinity Christmas Village Committee, a sincere thank you to our Gettysburg and surrounding communities for their participation at our Holiday bazaar held on Friday, December 9 at the Fellowship Hall of the Trinity United Church of Christ. It was our 33rd Holiday Bazaar and we are grateful to the public for coming in to see and buy our great quality crafts, home baked goods and dining at our Candy Cane Diner. We especially express our gratitude to our invited Artisans for gracing this year's bazaar with their exquisite craft. We all had a good time.
We also thank the various businesses that helped toft. support our bazaar advertising; the newspaper articles, the establishments that let us put flyers on their bulletin boards and windows and the radio stations that put us on the air.
Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to EVERYONE who volunteered, supported, donated their time, talents and resources and participated in making this year's Holiday Bazaar a success.
It is because of people like you that we profitably fundraised to achieve our goals in 2011. We made a profit of a little over $3,600.00 to spend on local and worldwide mission projects and special projects for our church. Moreover, we enjoyed working together for the Bazaar and the fellowship and goodwill shared with our congregation and community is priceless.
A special "thank you" to Reverend George Heberling and Reverend Ken Heasley for their encouragement and support. To our church staff and to all the booth chairpersons and volunteers (please see list below) who gave their time, talent, & resources towards another successful year - we could not have done it without you.
Well done every one, Connie Howe and Perla Gish, Chairpersons Holiday Bazaar Trinity Christmas Village
